Introduction
Hey there, welcome to another topic! Inside, I want to talk about the most important thing for success. My name is Gideon Shalwick. In the last few years of being online and running my business, there?s a few things that stood out to me as things to help me become successful, not just online but in business, in life and relationships too.
There?s one thing that is THE most important thing to help you become successful. Perhaps you know what it is, perhaps you don?t. If you do know what it is, that might not be enough yet because even for some people who know what it is, they might not know how to actually get it for themselves. So it?s not enough just to know what it is, you need to know how to get it for yourself.
Inside this video I want to explain to you what it is and also how you can get this thing that is the most important for your success in business.
So what is it?
Well, the answer is Clarity of Vision. That is the most important thing for your success in business and in life.
The Concept Of Clarity Vision
This may not be as intuitively obvious to you, so let me explain this a little bit. How do you actually get clarity of vision and why is it important?
Why is it important?
When you think about anything that you do, if you want to become successful, it is really important that you focus on the right thing and you need to know what that right thing is to be focussing on. Because so many times, and I?ve done this myself, we focus on the wrong thing. And while we can do that thing really right, it is the wrong thing to be focussing on.
So you need to do two things. You need to know what is the right thing to focus on and you need to do that thing right. Know the right thing and do the right thing as well; do the thing right. Very very important; those two things need to go together.
How do you get it?
How do you get this clarity of vision? How do you get it if it?s just you and the business? Or if you have some sort of a vision but it?s not very clear, it?s a bit fuzzy; or if you don?t even know what it is you are supposed to do? How do you do that?
Here?s my secret; the secret that I?ve learned and have applied in many many cases. I?ll talk about some really cool examples in a second that?s helped me become successful as a business person. I?m going to go through a bit of a flow diagram of how all this works.
The Secret: High End Mastermind
The first step is to help you set up a high end mastermind. I?ll go into that in a little bit more detail. That high end mastermind helps you get clarity of vision. In James Collins? book Good To Great, he talks about this extensively.
The first principle in all these businesses that he talks about that went from just good to great, they all have this thing in common. All of them first asked this question: first who, then what?
I. Vision
First, you need to think about who it is that?s inside your high end mastermind group. Very important. You use that to develop and clarify your vision for what you?re supposed to be doing, for what the right thing is to be focussing on.
Once again, it?s so easy to do the wrong thing and you do it really well. But you?re wasting a lot of time. So it?s very important that you focus on the right thing and do that really well.
II. Execution
Once you have the vision, your task an as entrepreneur is really the execution. You need to execute it; so either you execute it yourself or as Napoleon Hill talks about, you get organized effort. You build a team around you to implement. So for that you need people and you need money or resources to help you execute your vision. Super important.
III. Results
Finally, from that execution you get the results that you?re after.
Okay, so you see the flow of this process? High end mastermind helps you get a clearer vision of what you?re supposed to be doing. Then you set up your team and resources to execute your vision and that gives you the results.
It?s a simple concept; it?s not necessarily easy to pull off, but it?s a simple concept.
The Pyramid Illustration
Now I just want to talk about this thing that helps you get this clear vision. That is this high end mastermind. There are really three parts to it, like a pyramid.
A. The Bottom Level
The bottom of the pyramid is a collection of specialized knowledge from your role models ? the people that you want to emulate, the people that you want to get similar results from. That?s the first thing. This is in the form of education, books that you read, interviews that you listen to, biographies that you study or read about, that sort of stuff. It?s specialized knowledge from your role models in particular.
You figure out what it is that you want to do. You find other people that?s done it already. You read their books, you read their information. You get that specialized knowledge of how they?ve done it. That?s the first base level. You need to do a ton of that; the more the merrier.
B. The Middle Level
The next level in this high end mastermind is your advisers and experts. For any business, you need advisers and experts, people who have some very specialized knowledge to give you the advice you need to be able to implement your vision, to get clarity in your vision. So you get this from these experts, these advisers. They can be people like accountants, lawyers if you want to set up a business structure, they can be business advisers, they can be business coaches; whatever you need to help you make your vision a reality.
C. The Top Level
The top of the pyramid are your mentors, either one main mentor or a group of mentors that can talk to you and interact with you one on one to help you with your business issues.
When you have this sort of pyramid structure in place for your mastermind, that will help you get clarity on your vision so that you can implement it and get those results.
Now just as a side note, Napoleon Hill who wrote Think And Grow Rich, The Law Of Success and many other books in the success literature niche, said this about the mastermind: It is the coordination of knowledge and effort in a spirit of harmony between two or more people for the attainment of a definite purpose.
You use your mastermind to help you get the clarity, to help you build your team, your own internal mastermind to help you implement and get that vision into a reality. It?s really as simple as that.
My Results
Does this work? Yes, it does. You look at any successful business person or company, they have this thing in place. They have this mastermind structure in place. I?ve now used this many many times over and over to get amazing results.
Let me just go through some of the results I?ve had just as proof that this stuff works.
1. Become A Blogger
When I first really used it, I teamed up with Yaro Starak in doing the Become A Blogger. That was a very successful business. Within a week, we had 10,000 subscribers, over a thousand members. We set it up within a couple of weeks to be a $20,000/month income kind of business. That business has now, I think, between 30 to 40 thousand subscribers. We?ve passed it on to someone else now and it?s running passively for us, still earning us income.
2. Free Magic Live
The next one I did was of course with JayJay in the magic niche. That was a very successful business too. The time when I left that business a few years ago, we had over 50,000 subscribers. The last time I checked the YouTube channel, they had like 8 million views on YouTube, just amazing! Once again, the power of the mastermind, organized effort. That was what it was about.
3. Rapid Video Blogging
The next thing I did was my own Rapid Video Blogging Course. I teamed up with my wife Tineke on that in terms of the mastermind and we had our own team as well. That was a very comfortable 6-figure launch and we now have over 40,000 followers in that business and it?s still running to this day.
4. Splasheo
From there I teamed up with another mentor of mine, Nigel. He helped me set up the Splasheo business. That?s still a new business. We haven?t actually launched it but already that business is sitting at 10,000 subscribers and we?re getting over a hundred leads and subscribers every single day. That?s the power of the mastermind. I have Nigel as my mentor and my team as the implementation mastermind to make that dream a reality.
5. A New Idea
More recently, I?ve also got on board another one-on-one mentor. This mentor has just been amazing just from one hour meeting that I had with him on our first meeting, he gave me an idea that would help me set up a hundred thousand dollar per month income extra, on top of everything that I am making.
This is the power of having a mastermind. I wanted to make sure that it is clear to you because this stuff works.
EJ Insider
A very good friend of mine that I?ve mentioned just before, Yaro Starak, is releasing a very powerful set of interviews. It is called EJ Insider (Entrepreneur?s Journey Insider), which is based on his very successful blog, EntrepreneursJourney.com.
